| Abstrak This study aims to determine the perspective and assessment of the community on the application of the Kajulangko village forest program, as well as reviewing the efforts that can be made in increasing its success. The research methods used include descriptive analysis, perspective analysis, and priority analysis by reviewing the economic, ecological, and social aspects of the community towards the Kajulangko village forest program. The results of the study generally show that the community's perspective and assessment of the application of the Kajulangko village forest program is relatively low because the community considers that the program has not made a real contribution to improving the economy, social welfare, and improving ecological conditions. Efforts can be made to improve the success of the program, which is to provide understanding to the community regarding the management of village forests and their management boundaries, maintain the extent of limited production forest and improve hydrological conditions, and improve welfare and community participation in its management.
