Abstrak Mu'min syah A. H. Hamzah. HIV and AIDS Prevention Behavior among MSM (Male Sex Male) in Talise Health Center Working Area, Palu City (Supervised by Rasyika Nurul Fadjriah and Ratna Devi). Specialization in Health Promotion Public Health Study Program Master Program (S2) Faculty of Public Health Tadulako University 2025 The Health Office of Palu City showed that HIV and AIDS cases from 2021 to 2023 continued to increase, namely a total of 542 which were dominated by MSM (208 cases). The purpose of this study was to describe HIV and AIDS prevention behavior among MSM (Male Sex Men) in the Talise Health Center Working Area of Palu City. The informants of this study consisted of 2 key informants, 7 main informants and 1 supporting informant. This type of research is direct research to raise unique phenomena with an inductive approach. Informants totaled 10 people who were determined using snowball sampling technique. The results showed that predisposing factors, knowledge and attitudes had understood the prevention of HIV and AIDS in MSM with the use of condoms but not in action where MSM did not use safety equipment during intercourse. Enabling factors are related to health services where informants feel they have received good service. The reinforcing factor is that family support has not played an optimal role. The family does not provide social support to informants. Likewise, informants are still closed to their families. Suggestions are expected that sexual behavior prevention programs for MSM continue to be improved, especially for families to be able to provide more social support to their family members.
