| Abstrak RISANDY SG LEMBAH. Adolescent Behavior That Influences the Occurrence of Early Marriage at SMA Negeri 9 Sigi (Under the guidance of Arwan) Health Promotion Specialization Public Health Study Program Faculty of Public Health Tadulako Palu University Early marriage is a phenomenon that still occurs in various parts of the world, including in Indonesia. Based on data from the Central Sulawesi BKKBN, Sigi Regency with 496 cases, based on these data, the number of early marriages in Sigi Regency is ranked 3rd with a percentage of 1.25%. Cases of early marriage are often related to social, cultural, economic, and educational factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the causes of adolescents who influence the occurrence of early marriages in SMA Negeri 9 Sigi. This study used a qualitative approach with triangulation techniques, the study involved 7 informants through in-depth interviews. Data was managed using matrix techniques. The results showed that adolescents' knowledge was poor regarding early marriage, one of the causes of early marriage in students of SMA Negeri 9 Sigi is promiscuity and free sex, this occurs due to lack of supervision from parents and a free environment so that adolescents do not know the impact of promiscuity which can lead to underage marriage. Further research is expected to explore more information related to the causes of the rampant early marriage in SMA Negeri 9 Sigi. Keywords: Early Marriage, Behavior, Teenagers, Promiscuity |
