Abstrak
Employee performance is one of the important aspects in supporting the quality of health services at the Puskesmas level. Based on data from the Health Office of Palu City in 2021, UPTD Puskesmas Mamboro was recorded to have the lowest Community Satisfaction Index (IKM), namely 81.875%, compared to other health centers in the Palu City area. In addition, there has been a significant decrease in the number of patient visits in the last two years. This condition raises the suspicion that there is a problem in the application of leadership style that plays a role in reducing employee performance. This problem can be overcome if the leader applies a transformational leadership style that encourages positive change and empowers employees optimally. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance at UPTD Puskesmas Mamboro Palu City. The type of research used is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The study involved 72 respondents with total sampling technique. Bivariate analysis using the chi-square test gave the following results: there is no significant relationship between idealistic influence and employee performance (p = 1,000), and motivational inspiration and employee performance (p = 1,000). However, a significant relationship was found between intellectual stimulation and employee performance (p = 0.002), as well as individual consideration and employee performance (p = 0.000). It is recommended that the management of the health center can improve aspects of intellectual stimulation
