The Description of the characteristics of Pulmonary Tuberculosis patients at Birobuli Public Health Center, Palu (under the supervision of Rahma Dwi Larasati) Department of Biostatistics Public Health Study Program Faculty of Public Health Tadulako University Tuberculosis is still a health problem in the world and in Indonesia. Tuberculosis, abbreviated as TB, is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which can attack the lungs and other organs. Pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB) infection is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. Tuberculosis can attack the lungs and can even develop in other organs of the body, so that pulmonary disease is known to be the most common thing. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of pulmonary tuberculosis sufferers at the Birobuli Public Health Center in Palu. This study applied descriptive quantitative method with cross-sectional study approach. This study was conducted at the Birobuli Public Health Center in Palu. The population of this study was all tuberculosis sufferers in 2024. Data collection used questionnaire. The data test used univariate test. The results of this study indicate that those in the productive age group are more likely to suffer from tuberculosis, those in the low-education group are more likely to suffer from tuberculosis, and those in the male gender group are more likely to suffer from tuberculosis. The recommendations in this study are for the Birobuli Public Health Center to provide education and design tuberculosis prevention programs, while consistently reminding the community to maintain cleanliness and a healthy lifestyle.
