Abstrak Ariana Putri. The Relationship between Service Waiting Time and Outpatient Installation Patient Satisfaction at Mamuju Regional General Hospital. (under the Supervision of Novi Inriyanny Suwendro) Department of Health Administration and Policy Public Health Study Program Faculty of Public Health Tadulako University May, 2024 Outpatient health service waiting time is one of the indicators of patient satisfaction that affects the quality of health services. Patients feel dissatisfied if the waiting time is not in accordance with the set standard, which is ? 60 minutes. There are still patients who complain of dissatisfaction due to the long waiting time at Mamuju Hospital. This study aims to determine the relationship between service waiting time and patient satisfaction in outpatient installations at Mamuju Hospital. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was 21,084 respondents with a sample of 100 respondents, using the Stratified Random Sampling Proportionate Technique. The data was analyzed using the Chi Square test. The results of the analysis showed that more than half (76%) of respondents perceived that the waiting time for outpatient services was not up to standard. Furthermore, more than half (71%) of respondents are dissatisfied with the services provided. The results of the statistical test obtained a p value of 0.018 (p < 0.05) showing that there was a relationship between service waiting time and patient satisfaction. It is recommended that the hospital conduct further socialization to all outpatient service officers to provide faster and more accurate services, implement the use of the SIMRS application evenly, and optimize facilities and infrastructure.
