The Relationship Between Maternal Knowledge and the Role of Cadres on the Participation of Infants' Mothers in Posyandu Activities at Posyandu Malaya, Working Area of Bulili Public Health Center, Palu City. (under supervised by Novi Inriyanny Suwendro) Health Administration and Policy Department Public Health Study Program Public Health Faculty Tadulako University The low visits of infants to posyandu can lead to insufficient monitoring of their growth and development, which may cause health problems. Posyandu Malaya has the lowest participation rate of mothers with infants in posyandu activities among the 10 posyandus in the working area of Bulili Public Health Center, as only 23 out of 39 mothers with infants participate in the activities. This study aims to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge and cadres' role regarding mothers with infants' participation in posyandu activities at Posyandu Malaya, Bulili Public Health Center, Palu City. This is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional approach. The study population comprises mothers with infants aged 0-24 months at Posyandu Malaya, totaling 39 mothers. The sample was taken by total sampling method, resulting in 39 respondents. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire with a Guttman scale. The data obtained were analyzed statistically using the Chi-Square and Fisher’s Exact tests. The results indicate a relationship between maternal knowledge (p = 0.023) but no relationship with the role of cadres (p = 1.000) concerning the participation of mothers with infants in posyandu activities. It is hoped that health workers will socialize the importance of visits to posyandu by mothers with infants using easily understandable language.
