Abstrak Data on the prevalence of Schistosomiasis in 2021 in Indonesia is 0.25%, located in Central Sulawesi, namely three villages, namely Bada Village, Napu and Lindu Village. The prevalence of Schistosomiasis in Central Sulawesi Province in 2022 is 1.45%. The prevalence of Schistosomiasis in 2023 in Poso Regency is 1.1%. Schistosomiasis is still a disease that has not been eliminated to date, one of the causes is fecal collection which never reaches 95%. The aim of this study was to look at factors associated with non-compliance with collecting stool samples. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach, the population in this study was 1,140 and samples were obtained using the Standley Lameshow formula, namely 230 samples, with an accidental sampling technique. Statistical analysis using the Chi-square test showed that knowledge (p=0.000), attitudes (p=0.000) and perceived barriers (p=0.001) were related to compliance with stool sample collection in Lore Peore District. If feces collection always does not reach the target, socialization must be held about Schistosomiasis and training on providing feces samples in pots that have been distributed so that all age groups can have the same awareness to always be obedient in collecting feces samples, obedient to minimize medication and wear PPE when working on site which is at risk. Keywords: Schistosomiasis, Knowledge, Attitude, Perception of Barriers. |
