Abstrak
Diarrhea is one of the diseases that often causes KLB (Extraordinary Events) so it is said that disease is still a public health problem. UNICEF explained that around 1,200 deaths every day and also 15 countries with highest deaths of children under five from diarrheal incidence, one of which Indonesia which in 7th place. In 2023, according to the Palu City Health Office, the Kamonji Health Center has the first highest prevalence of diarrhea cases at 1.27%. Because there relationship between toilet ownership and personal hygiene. The purpose of this study to find out between toilet ownership and personal hygiene and incidence of diarrhea in the working area of the Kamonji Health Center. This type of research quantitative with Cross sectional approach, the sample size calculated using the slovin formula and in sampling using Cluster Random Sampling Technique. The sample of this study was 257 respondents. The data was analyzed using the chi square test. The results of this study showed that latrine ownership (p=0.001), CTPS habits (p=0.000), and nail hygiene (p=0.902). The conclusion in study a relationship between toilet ownership and CTPS habits and the incidence of diarrhea and there no relationship between nail hygiene and the incidence of diarrhea
