Abstrak
Based on data from the National Waste Management Information System (SIPSN) in 2019, it shows that national waste generation reached 29.14 tons/year, in 2020 it shows that national waste generation reached 67.8 tons/year, in 2021 it shows that waste generation nationally nationally it reaches 68.5 tons/year, and in 2022 it shows that national waste generation will reach 19.45 tons/year. Ecoenzyme made from organic materials have different types of microbes, these microbes are generally bacteria and fungi. The aim of the research is to identify the types of Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) species in the ecoenzyme, to determine the quality of the ecoenzyme (pH value, aroma, temperature, color and alcohol content). This research is descriptive in nature using organoleptic test approaches, in situ tests, chemical tests and laboratory tests to identify LAB in the ecoenzyme of papaya peel and cucumber peel kitchen waste. The test results in the research showed that the ecoenzyme sample had a pH of 1.05, a temperature of 32.3ÂșC, a fresh brown color, a typical sour aroma of fermentation and no alcohol content. Meanwhile, the results of the isolation of LAB include Staphylococcus aureus and Lactobacillus reuteri. It can be concluded that the ecoenzyme produced has good quality and can be used as a disinfectant because of its antibacterial.
