| Abstrak Rekam medis merupakan berkas yang berisikan catatan dokumen tentang identitas pasien, pemeriksaan, pengobatan, tindakan dan pelayanan lain yang telah diberikan kepada pasien. Kelengkapan pengisian rekam memiliki standar yaitu 100%. Persentase kelengkapan pengisian rekam medis di RSUD Anutapura belum mencapai standar yang ditentukan. Data yang didapatkan dari unit rekam medis yaitu pada triwulan 1 realisasinya sebesar 70%, triwulan 2 sebesar 60%, triwulan 3 sebesar 68%. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik (usia, jenis kelamin dan masa kerja) dokter terhadap kinerja dalam kelengkapan pengisian rekam medis jalan di RSUD Anutapura Kota Palu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Cross-sectional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan lembar checklist dan data sekunder. Responden penelitian sebanyak 40 responden. Analisis data yang diperoleh menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh karekteristik usia dokter (p = 1,000), jenis kelamin (p = 0,730), masa kerja (p = 1,000) terhadap kinerja dalam kelengkapan pengisian rekam medis rawat jalan di RSUD Anutapura Kota palu. Adapun saran dalam penelitian ini adalah diharapkan rumah sakit untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dokter tentang rekam medis dan aspek hukum rekam medis melalui pembimbingan, pelatihan, seminar dan lokakarya. Selain itu meningkatkan peran dan fungsi Komite Medik dalam rangka meningkatkan pengetahuan dokter tentang rekam medis. The suggestion in this study is that it is hoped that hospitals will improve doctors' understanding of medical records and the legal aspects of medical records through mentoring, training, seminars and workshops.
