Abstrak
ABSTRACT NUR RAMADHANA. Factors Related to the Use of the Tubectomy Contraceptive Method in Women of Reproductive Age Couples in Mamboro Village. Supervised Rosmala Nur. Department of Biostatistics, Family Planning, and Population Public Health Study Program Faculty of Public Health Tadulako University Tubectomy contraception method is a contraception method to prevent pregnancy, but interest in Tubectomy contraception is still low compared to other long-term contraception. In Indonesia, in 2021 the prevalence of Tubectomy contraception was 4.2%. In 2021 the number of Women of Reproductive Age Couples using Tubectomy contraception in the working area of the Mamboro Public Health Clinic is the third highest in the Mamboro Village, namely 0.88% of people. This research aims to find out the factors related to the use of Tubectomy contraception in women of reproductive age couples in the Mamboro Village. This type of research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this research was active family planning acceptors, totaling 816 people with a sample of 90 respondents selected through the Simple Random Sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires and then analyzed using the Chi-square test (a < 0.05). The results of the research show several variables, namely: the number of children (p = 0.000), knowledge (p = 0.000), and husband's support (p = 0.000). In conclusion, there is a relationship between the number of children, the knowledge, and the husband's support for using of the Tubectomy contraception method in Mamboro Village. Recommendation to health workers are to provide information and counseling about Tubectomy contraception. Keywords: Tubectomy contraception method, Number of Children, Knowledge, Husband's Support
