Abstrak
ABSTRACT Nurhidayah, Factors related to Exclusive Breastfeeding to Working Mothers in the Working Area of the Bulili Public Health Center in Palu (under the supervision of Nurhaya S. Patui, S.KM., M.PH) Concentration in Biostatistics, Family Planning and Population Public Health Study Program Public Health Faculty Tadulako University Exclusive breastfeeding coverage in the last three years in the Working Area of ??the Bulili Public Health Center, Palu, has shown a sequential decline in 2019 to 57.83%, in 2020 to 47.59%, and in 2021 decreased to 22.90%. The purpose of this research was to analyze the factors related to exclusive breastfeeding for working mothers in the Working Area of ??the Bulili Public Health Center. Type of the research was quantitative research with a cross sectional design. This research was conducted in the Working Area of ??the Bulili Public Health Center from June to July 2022. The population for this research was all working mothers who have babies 6-24 months with a total population of 105 people and a sample of 103 people. The results of this research indicate that there is a relationship between husband's support (p value = 0.003) and exclusive breastfeeding in the Working Area of ??the Bulili Public Health Center, Palu. Meanwhile, there is no relationship between mother's knowledge (p value = 0.217), mother's duration of work (p value = 0.133), support from health workers (p value = 0.587) with exclusive breastfeeding in the Working Area of ??the Bulili Public Health Center, Palu. Husbands play an important role in exclusive breastfeeding, therefore husbands should be targeted for breastfeeding counseling and encouraged to be more active in seeking information and actively learning about breastfeeding, so that they understand better in providing support to mothers for exclusive breastfeeding.
