Abstrak
ABSTRACT Devi Yuniarsi, Behavioral Prevention Determinants Of Pulmonary Tuberkulosis Transmission At Bulili Public Health Center, Palu City (Supervised by Muh. Jusman Rau) Epidemiology Concentration Publih Health Study Program Public Health Faculty Tadulako University Palu Pulmonary Tuberkulosis (TB) is an infectious disease that is still a problem in the world. In Indonesia, pulmonary TB is one of the main public health problems and until now it has not been able to be handled even though efforts have been made to control it through the TB program by the government. According to data from Palu Health Office in 2018 to 2022 there were 23,45%, 36,98%, and 56,32% TB cases in Palu, while at the Bulili Health Center in 2022 there were 90 TB patients under treatment. This Study aims to determine the relationship between the behavioral determinants of preventing pulmonary TB Transmission in the working are of the Bulili Publich Health Center. This type of study is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study amounted to 90 people using the slovin formula obtained a sample of 75 people. Sampling using simple random sampling technique. The analysis used is chi-square. The result of this study show that coughing behaviour (sig=0,028), phlegm behavior (sig-0,003), behaviour of using eating utensils (sig=0,008) and self-efficacy (sig=0,004) were related to the the behaviour of preventing pulmonary TB Transmission. While sleeping behaviour (sig=0,078) had no relationship with the behavior of preventing pulmonary TB transmission. It is recommended that the health center should add additional staff for TB patients so that the contribution of the bulili health center with health services for TB patients, especially in the prevention of TB transmission is more efficient and it is also recommended that the health center will pay more attention to education about TB prevention behaviour for patients and their families.
