Abstrak
The cause of maternal death in developing countries according to the World Health Organization (WHO), is anemia in pregnancy. Factors that increase the anemia case are age, parity, knowledge, and adherence to consuming Fe tablets. Based on data from the Health Office of Central Sulawesi Province in 2019, relatively high Anemia coverage is found at the working area of ??the Tinggede Public Health Center with a percentage of 12.1%. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between age, parity, and adherence to consuming Fe tablets and anemia cases in pregnant women at the working area of ??the Tinggiede Public Health Center of Sigi District. This research was quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The population consisted of 52 people. The sampling was total. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate using the chi-square test with a value of ? <0.05. The results show that several variables, namely: age (p = 0.045), parity (p = 0.022), and adherence to consuming Fe tablets (p = 0.002) were associated with the anemia case in pregnant women at the working area of ??the Tinggede Public Health Center. In conclusion, there is a relationship between age, parity, and adherence to consuming Fe tablets and anemia cases in pregnant women at the working area of ??the Tinggede Public Health Center. It is recommended that health workers check the mother's Hb level during pregnancy and provide counseling.
