Abstrak ABSTRACT RISKA. Factors Related to Dysmenorrhea on Female Students of 2018 at Public Health Study Program Tadulako University (under the supervisions of Prof. Dr. Rosmala Nur, S.KM., M.Si) Biostatistics, Family Planning, and Population Specialization Public Health Study Program Public Health Faculty Tadulako University Palu September (2021) Dysmenorrhea is a pain which causes discomfort in the lower abdomen before and during menstruation, it is often followed by nausea that force the patients to take a rest for few hours or a few days. Menstrual periods are important in reproduction, usually occur every month between puberty and menopause. Female Students of 2018 at Public Health Study Program Tadulako University who experience dysmenorrhea disorders are caused by some factors such as stress, eating pattern, and sleeping time. This study aims to determine the factors related to dysmenorrhea on female students of 2018 at Public Health Study Program, Tadulako University. Method of the study used was quantitative analytic through a cross sectional approach. The number of samples was 125 female students. Sampling was selected by using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using chi square test, CI = 95% and ? = 0.05. The results show that there is a relationship between stress and dysmenorrhea with ?-value 0.049 ?-value < 0> 0.05, there is a relationship between sleep time and dysmenorrhea with ?-value 0.045 < 0.05. It is suggested to the female students of 2018 to be able to control emotions, maintain eating patterns and pay attention to bedtime. Keywords: Dysmenorrhea, stress, diet, sleep time |
