Abstrak PINCE: Factors Associated with Stunting Incidence in Toddlers in Palolo Public Health Center Work Area, Sigi District (under the supervision of Herman) Health promotion Concentration Public Health Study Program Tadulako University Palu Stunting is a condition where a person's height does not match his age. The impact of stunting is short-term effects such as children becoming apathetic, experiencing speech disorders, and developmental disorders, and long-term impacts such as decreased IQ scores, decreased cognitive development, impaired concentration of attention and decreased self-confidence. The Palolo Public Health Center is one of the health centers with a fairly high prevalence of stunting, namely 34.5% with 3rd place in Sigi District. The research aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of stunting in children under five in the work area of ??the Palolo Public Health Center, Sigi District. The research method used is quantitative with a cross sectional research design. The research population were 641 toddlers with a sample of 87 toddlers selected through cluster random sampling technique. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis using chi-square test with <0.05. The results showed that there was a relationship between infectious diseases (p = 0.045) and feeding patterns (p = 0.043) with the incidence of stunting in children under five in the work area of ??the Palolo Public Health Center, Sigi District, while maternal knowledge (p = 0.125) was not related to the incidence of stunting. It is suggested to the Palolo Health Center to be more active in conducting counseling about feeding patterns to toddlers, counseling about stunting, and counseling about infectious diseases and also adding an infant measuring instrument (Infant Ruler) namely Infant meter and Microtoise.
