This research applied qualitative method with a case study approach. There were 17 informants taken by purposive sampling technique. The results show that the informants' knowledge of the definition of exclusive breastfeeding were the abbreviation of ASI, they already knew the benefits and how to increase breast milk supply and the practice of giving early weaning food. Informants experience problems in exclusive breastfeeding that affect the informant's attitude such as feeling uncomfortable while breastfeeding, breast milk has not been produced after giving birth, there is an assumption that formula is good for babies because it has the same benefits as exclusive breastfeeding and there is a belief that breastfeeding can cause sagging breasts. Formula ads seen from social media and television makes mothers interested in giving formula to babies. Mothers were supported by families to exclusive breastfeed the baby’s until 2 years old.
