Abstrak Hospital should have Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and needed to monitoring the quality of wastewater through routine checks of water treated. This research aims to find out the quality of wastewater from the biofilter treatment process at Anutapura Hospital in Palu City, then compared with the quality standard based on the regulation of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5 of 2014 concerning Wastewater Quality Standard. This is a descriptive study with laboratory-approach. The processing systems using a computerized. Sampling is carried out at the outlet point to see the quality of wastewater after going through treatment. The parameters tested included physical parameters (temperature, color, odor) Chemical parameters (pH, TSS, and BOD). Biological parameter (Total Coliform). The sampling technique used was composite sampling by time. The color and odor parameter examination by organoleptic test show that the wastewater is cloudy and smelly. The results of temperature obtained an average value of 30.90C. Based on the results of laboratory tests, the average value of TSS parameters is 36.6 mg/L, pH 7.6, BOD 3.383 mg/L, and Total Coliform 11 MPN/100 ml. The conclusion of this research, the physical aspect (color and odor) and chemical aspects (TSS) not meet the requirements. Biological aspects (Total Coliform) and chemical aspect (pH and BOD) still meet the requirements, so that WWTP is not effective for physical and chemical aspects.
