Abstrak Red tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is one of the aquaculture commodities that has the potential to be developed, but still has problems, namely theincreasingly high price of feed in the market. Efforts to overcome that are by maximizing the use of raw materials which are quite abundant and have noot been, namely waste from the processing of ready-to-process catfish in the form of offal, fins and gills. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Water Quality and Aquatic Biology, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Tadulako Universty, Central Sulawesi Province, in October-December 2022. The design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), using 4 treatments and 5 replications so three were 20 trial unit. The threatment tested was feed made from catfish waste silage with doses A = 0?rfish waste silage + 100% fish meal, B = 25?rfish waste silage + 75% fish meal, C = 50?rfish waste silage + 50% fish meal, D = 75?rfish waste silage + 25% fish meal. Variables measured included daily specific growth rate, absolute weight growth, feed conversion ratio, survival, and water quality. Observational data were processed using the Microsoft excel 2010, Minitab, and SPSS software programs. The best research result on a specific growth rate 145%/day and a weight growth 1.90 grams, respectively. For the best feed conversion ratio of 5.90. |
