Abstrak ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi konsentrasi media kotoran burung puyuh dan dedak padi terhadap kepadatan populasi Daphnia sp. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus-September 2022. Penelitian ini bertempat di Laboratorium Kualitas Air dan Biologi Akuatik, Fakultas Peternakan dan Perikanan, Universitas Tadulako, Palu, Sulawesi Tengah. Desain percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), menggunakan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan A = Kotoran burung puyuh 100%, B = Dedak padi 100%, C = Kotoran burung puyuh 75% + dedak padi 25%, D = Kotoran burung puyuh 50% + dedak padi 50%, E = Kotoran burung puyuh 25% + dedak padi 75%. Variabel yang diamati yaitu kepadatan populasi, laju kepadatan populasi spesifik, kualitas air. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA) dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) menggunakan program aplikasi Excel dan Minitab 16. Kepadatan populasi tertinggi terdapat perlakuan C yaitu sebanyak 1020 ind/L, sedangkan kepadatan populasi terendah terdapat pada perlakuan E yaitu sebanyak 256 ind/L. Laju kepadatan populasi spesifik tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan C dengan nilai 6,71%, sedangkan yang terendah terdapat pada perlakuan E dengan nilai 5,21%. Kata kunci: Daphnia sp., pakan, pemupukan, pupuk organik, kotoran burung puyuh, dedak padi ABSTRACT The aim of the study was to determine the effect of the combination of quail droppings and rice bran media concentrations on the population density of Daphnia sp. This research was conducted in August-September 2022. This research took place at the Water Quality and Aquatic Biology Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Tadulako University, Palu, Central Sulawesi. The experimental design used a completely randomized design (CRD), using 5 treatments and 4 replications. Treatment A = 100% quail manure, B = 100% rice bran, C = 75% quail manure + 25% rice bran, D = 50% quail manure + 50% rice bran, E = 25% quail manure + rice bran 75%. The variables observed were population density, specific population density rate, water quality. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by a follow-up test using the Excel and Minitab 16 application programs. The highest population density was in treatment C, which was 1020 ind/L, while the lowest population density was in treatment E, namely 256 ind/L. The highest specific population density rate was in treatment C with a value of 6.71%, while the lowest was in treatment E with a value of 5.21%.
