In addition, snakehead fish has many benefits, one of which is the high albumin content in these fish which can speed up the wound healing process. The test organisms used were snakehead fish seeds with a length ranging from 4-6 cm, weighing 7-8 g. This study was designed using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications, so there were 20 experimental units. The treatments used were treatment A 24 hours of light and 0 hours of darkness, treatment B of 21 hours of light and 3 hours of darkness, C treatment of 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness, D treatment of 15 hours of light and 9 hours of light. dark, and treatment E for 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness. Parameters observed were growth in absolute weight, absolute length, and survival rate and water quality. The results showed that the photoperiod had a significant effect (p?0.05) on the absolute length and weight growth of snakehead fish fry. The highest results were found in the treatment with 24 hours light 0 hours dark irradiation, with an absolute weight growth value of 0.61 g and an absolute length of 0.71 cm. The survival rate of snakehead fish seeds obtained during maintenance was 100%. The value of water quality is still in the range that is appropriate for the living needs of snakehead fish.
