| Abstrak ABSTRACT Goldfish as ornamental fish have the appeal of beautiful colors and attractive shapes. Giving feed containing certain pigments or dyes such as carotene can improve the color quality of fish. Natural food is needed to increase growth and support the survival of fish fry. Feeding the fish is adjusted to the fish's mouth opening. One type of natural feed that can be used is silk worms (Tubifex sp.). Silkworms are a natural food that is often used in ornamental fish farming, this is because the feed has a high protein content, reaching 57.50%, so it can stimulate the growth of fish seeds. Silk worms also contain carotenoid pigments which can increase the brightness of colors in ornamental fish, but knowledge regarding the correct dosage is still limited. The research aims to determine the increase in the brightness of the color of goldfish seeds when given natural feed for silk worms (Tubifex sp.) with different doses. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Water Quality and Aquatic Biology, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Tadulako University.
