Abstrak Koi goldfish seed is one of the freshwater ornamental fish commodities which is the prima donna in Indonesia. the beauty of the shape, color and relatively stable price make koi gold seeds in great demand, especially in the international market. The main component that plays a role in producing color variants in koi fish is the caratenoid pigment, which is located on the skin, there are several color-forming pigments in the fish, including caratenoids. One of the food plants that provide carrots is the carrot plant which can be used as an ingredient in brightening the color of koi fish. The treatment in this study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. treatment A without adding carrot flour, treatment B adding 4?rrot flour, treatment C adding 6?rrot flour, treatment D adding carrot flour 8% and treatment E adding carrot flour 10%. The results of this study indicate that treatment E is a high level of color change with a score of 15.40 while the lowest level of color change is treatment B with a score of 8.3. |
