Abstrak
The livestock subsector plays an important role in Indonesia's economy, and recording systems are a critical element of livestock management. This study aims to explore farmers' perceptions on the implementation of a cattle recording system based on Quick Response (QR) barcode technology in Sumari Village, Sindue Subdistrict, Donggala Regency, as well as to analyze the relationship between recording systems and digital technology. The research was conducted from October to November 2024 using a survey method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The sample consisted of 30 respondents selected through purposive sampling based on the criteria of farmers who had attended livestock extension programs at least three times out of a total population of 120 livestock farmers. The respondents were cattle owners who met the criteria. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews and documentation using both primary and secondary data. Data were analyzed using Likert scale and Pearson correlation test. The results indicated that farmers' perceptions of the QR barcode-based recordkeeping system were generally positive, falling into the "somewhat agree" category. Based on the correlation test results, there was a significant relationship between the implementation of the recording system and the use of digital technology (p < 0.05). These results suggest that digital livestock recording is well accepted by farmers and has the potential to improve the efficiency of livestock production.
