JudulPengaruh Level Xantofil Terhadap Produksi Telur Konsumsi Dan FCR (feed Conversion Ratio)
Nama: MURNI
Tahun: 2022
Perlakuan X1 : ransum dasar, X2 : ransum dasar + 100 ppm produk mengandung 10% xantofil, X3 : ransum dasar + 200 ppm produk mengandung 10% xantofil, X4 : ransum dasar + 300 ppm produk mengandung 10% xantofil, X5 : ransum dasar + 400 ppm produk mengandung 10% xantofil. Kata Kunci: Xantofil, Produksi Telur, Konsumsi, Konversi Ransum, Ayam Petelur ABTRAK Laying hens are chickens that are very efficient in eggs producing, and have the potential to be cultivated because they are easy to fast maintain, produce, and eggs produce that are liked by the community. This study aims to determine the effect of xanthophyll levels on egg production, consumption and FCR (Feed Conversion Ratio). This research was carried out in the pen of the Department of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Tadulako University, South Sibalaya Village, Tanambulava District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, for 6 weeks, namely on December 13 - January 24, 2022 using 80 laying hens aged 44 week. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. Treatment X1 : basic ration, X2 : basic ration + 100 ppm product containing 10% xanthophyll, X3 : basic ration + 200 ppm product containing 10% xanthophyll, X4 : basic ration + 300 ppm product containing 10% xanthophyll, X5 : basic ration + 400 ppm of product contains 10% xanthophyll. The observed variables were Egg Production, Consumption and Ration Conversion. The results of this study indicated that the treatment had no significant effect (P>0.05) on Egg Production, Consumption and Ration Conversion. The conclusion from the results of the study was that the treatment that gave the best results was the addition of xanthophyll as much as 400 ppm, that the level of xanthophyll in the ration increased egg productivon and ration conversion while feed consumption was relatively the same in all treatments. Kyewords: Xanthophyll, Egg Production, Consumption, Feed Conversion, Chicken laying
