Abstract Adin O12118008Comparison of Processing Methods Soaking in FASP Solution with Boiling Rambutan Sepeda as a Source of Feed Against the Weight Gain of Local Female Goats Goats are the result of domestication of wild goats for breeding, which are spread and adapted in various regions, and produce different values, namely as meat goats, goats producing milk, taking their fur and goats producing milk as well as meat (Animal Health Office, 2010). Feed is the biggest factor affecting livestock productivity, because 60% of production costs come from feed (Williamson and Payne, 1993). Even though the genetic potential of an animal is high, without the support of good quality feed, the production of a desired animal will not reach optimally. The purpose of this study was to examine the provision of rambutan seed flour as a source of feed by soaking rice husk ash filtrate (FASP) and boiling methods on body weight gain of local female goats. This research has been carried out in the experimental cage owned by CV. Prima BREED, Tondo Sub-district, Mantikulore District, Palu City, Central Sulawesi Province which took place from December 2021 to March 2022. The livestock used in this study were 12 local female goats aged 10-12 months with a body weight range of 7.97 to 24.93 kg. The cages used were stage cages with thatched roofs, plank floors, walls made of boards measuring 6 x 10 m. The cages were divided into 12 plots with a size of 1.0 x 1.0 meter each, which was occupied by an experimental goat. This study used statistical analysis t-test with 2 treatments which were repeated 6 times. The treatments that were tried were: BRK = Boiled Rambutan Seeds, BRR = Soaked Rambutan Seeds using FASP. Panicum sarmentosum grass fed ad libitum to experimental goats as a source of forage. The results showed that the administration of boiled and soaked rambutan seed flour in a solution of Rice Husk Ash Filtrate (FASP) gave a significant difference to body weight gain and feed efficiency, but did not provide a significant difference to the dry matter consumption of local female goat feed. Keywords: local female goat, Rambutan Seeds, Body Weight Gain.
