Abstrak
This study aims to examine the effect of adding rice bran (DP) as an additive to the composition of market waste silage nutrients namely dry matter (BK), crude protein (PK) and crude fiber (SK). This research has been carried out in December 2019 until January 2020 with 2 stages, namely the process of ensilage for 21 days and analysis of BK, PK and SK for 10 days in the feed nutrition laboratory of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Tadulako University. The design used was a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 5 replications, including: LPD0 (0% DP); LPD5 (5% DP); LPD10 (10% DP); and LPD15 (15% DP). The observed variables include BK, PK and SK. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the treatment had a very significant effect (P <0> 0.05) on PK. The highest BK of market waste silage was LPD15 with the BK value of 40.63%, followed by the lowest values ??respectively 33.36%, 32.22% and 27.75%; Respectively for the treatment of LPD10, LPD5 and LPD0. The PK content for the treatment of LPD0, LPD5, LPD10 and LPD15 is 20.46%; 21.72%; 22.08%; 22.61% and the highest SK value is 16.29% LPD15 and followed by the lowest values ??starting from LPD10, LPD0 and LPD5: 15.20%; 12.55%; 12.45%; Based on the results of the research it can be concluded that the use of rice bran with levels 5, 10 and 15% as additives in the manufacture of market waste silage has a significant effect on increasing the BK and SK content while the PK content does not give different results. Keywords: market waste, additives, rice bran, silage, dry matter, crude protein, crude fiber
