Abstrak
This research was conducted to find out the consumer behavior of the Mas Fais Grilled Chicken Restaurant business in Palu City. The method used in this research is descriptive research. Sampling used the accidental sampling method (accidental sample), where the sample was taken based on consumers who happened to be buying, eating at the research location, or who had bought Mas Fais Grilled Chicken so that consumers could provide accurate information. Respondents in the study were 25 consumers, managers and owners of Ayam Bakar Mas Fais Restaurant 2 people, and 1 manager of Ayam Geprek Bensu. Sampling of consumers used the Accidental Sampling method, while the respondent sample was used for the formulation of restaurant strategies using the Purposive Sampling method. In this study, researchers used SWOT matrix analysis to formulate development strategies and consumer behavior. From the IFE matrix and the EFE matrix, it can be determined the business position of the Mas Fais Grilled Chicken Restaurant in Palu City with the formula: (P,Q) = (2,195-1,077; 1,646-1,497), namely (1,188 ;-0,149). The results of the SWOT analysis of Mas Fais Grilled Chicken Restaurant in Palu City (1,188 ;-0,149) are in quadrant II so it is necessary to take a diversification strategy, namely creating a strategy that uses strength to overcome threats.
