ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the level of ration consumption of Timor deer (Cervus timorensis) which receive additional feed of oil palm cake and kale as basic feed in captivity. This research was carried out in the captivity of Timor deer in Wosu Village, Morowali Regency starting on August 17 - September 25 2019. The ration consumption includes consumption of dry matter, crude fiber, crude fat, crude protein and nitrogen-free extract. The research was conducted experimentally using qualitative and quantitative analysis of 4 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment applied was BKS0 = Oil Palm Cake 0% + Rice Bran 94.49% + Urea 3.80% + Premix 1.0% + Salt 1.0% + Adlibitum Forage, BKS10 = Palm Oil Cake 10% + Bran paddy 84.91% + Urea 3.08% + Premix 1.0% + Salt 1.0% + adlibitum forage, BKS20 = Palm oil meal 20% + 75.33% rice bran + Urea 2.67% + Premix 1 , 0% + 1.0% salt + adlibitum forage, and BKS30 = Palm oil meal 30% + rice bran 65.74% + Urea 2.25% + Premix 1.0% + Salt 1.0% + adlibitum forage. The results of this study indicated that the addition of oil palm cake with different levels in the ration did not have a significant effect (P> 0.05) on the consumption of dry matter, consumption of crude protein, consumption of crude fiber, consumption of crude fat in the diet and consumption of extract ingredients nitrogen ration. The conclusion of this study shows that the addition of oil palm cake in the ration up to a level of 30% has not had an effect, meaning that the results of the research from the four treatments tested were considered the same and had no effect.
