Palm Meal is one of the remaining waste from the palm oil manufacturing industry containing protein, fat, coarse fiber and rich in minerals so that it can be used as feed for livestock. This study aims to get information about the consumption of drinking water of eastern deer who get additional feed of oil palm meal waste in captivity. This research has been conducted for 40 days in the area of deer breeding Timor (Cervus timorensis) in wosu village, west Of Bungku District, Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi, then conducted an analysis in the Laboratory of Nutrition and Livestock Food Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Tadulako Palu University. The study used 4 timor deer, aged about 1-2 years, with a weight range of 25-30 kg. Deer used in this study are deer that have been kept and kept by feeding is carried out in accordance with their natural habitat. The experiment was divided into four periods, where each period consists of 5 days introduction and 4 days of data retrieval, which is carried out on a daily and this study using the Latin Square Design (RBSL) 4 x 4, with 4 treatments and 4 repeats. The results showed that supplementary feeding of oil palm meal with different amounts did not give a real influence (P>0.05) on the level of drinking water consumed directly and drinking water consumption in the feed. This is caused because the water content in the feed is quite high and the temperature is cold at the captivity linkungan.. The highest level of drinking water consumption given directly is found in the treatment of BKS 20 with a value range of 420.9 g / tail / day and the lowest is found in the treatment of BKS 30 with a value range of 167.35 g / tail / day. While the highest level of drinking water consumption in the pankan is found in the treatment of BKS 10 with a value range of 298.95 g / tail / day while the lowest is in the treatment of BKS 30 with value range 167.35 g/tail/day. While the highest level of drinking water consumption in the pankan is found in the treatment of BKS 10 with a value range of 298.95 g / tail / day while the lowest is in the treatment of BKS 30 with a value range of 263.22 g / tail / day.
