Abstrak Duck is one of the most popular livestock commodities in Indonesia after chicken, and has the opportunity to be developed as a producer of eggs and meat. Eggs that have good quality are expected to be quality chicks. Turmeric contains essential oils and curcumin which can increase appetite so that it can affect the increase in egg production. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of giving turmeric solution on the egg production performance of male Bali ducks and female Mojosari ducks. This research has been carried out at the Experimental Laboratory of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Tadulako University, in South Sibalaya Village, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted for 7 weeks. The study used 40 male and female Mojosari crosses between 20 weeks of age and placed randomly using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments with 4 replications. The treatments were given R0, (Without turmeric solution) R1, (turmeric solution 0.5ml) R2, (turmeric solution 1.0 ml) R3, (turmeric solution 1.5 ml) R4, (turmeric solution 2 ml) giving turmeric solution given orally every day before meals in the morning. The results showed that ration consumption had no significant effect, while ration conversion and egg production had a very significant effect (P<0.01). The treatment that gave the best results in this study was the R4 treatment with the use of 2 ml of turmeric solution.
