| Abstrak The maintenance of goats by the people of South Tinombo District is generally a side business to fill spare time in addition to farming as the main business. How much this livestock business is able to contribute to the income of the community's farming business is still not known with certainty, because there is no information or quantitative data on this matter. This study aims to determine the income of goat farming and to determine the contribution of goat farming business to family income in South Tinombo District, Parigi Moutong Regency. The research method used is a survey method which is a primary data collection method by giving questions to respondents/individuals (goat breeders). The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis that describes or describes the scale of the goat raising business in terms of the scale of ownership of the number of livestock that are suitable to be kept so as to increase the income of farmers. The results showed that the average income of goat breeders in South Tinombo District was Rp. 3,179,293./ year. The contribution of goat farming to the household income of farmers in South Tinombo District is 25%. The goat farming business in South Tinombo District is a side business that has not been able to support the income of the farmer's family.
