| Abstrak Social isolation is a stase of lonelines considered dangerous and unpleasant, characterized by an inability to communicate. Social skill training therapy is one intervention aimed at improving communication between patients and others. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of social skill training therapy in social interaction with other patients to enhance the patients’ socialization abilities. This research employs a case study approach with the implementation of social skill training therapy for patients with social isolation in the psychiatric ward at RSUD. The findings indicate that after implementing social skill training therapy, therapy, there was an improvement in the patients’ ability to socialize with others, although their responses were slow. The implementation of nursing care through social skill training therapy can enhance an individual’d ability to interact with others. Future researchers can use this study as a reference to develop and improve the methods used, considering the obstacles encountered in this research, such as adjustments in timing and the techiques for implementing social skill training therapy |
