Abstrak World data in the last 10 decades of disaster has caused the death of more than 1.1 million people in 4000 cases of large-scale natural disasters. During 2015 a total of 574 disasters were reported, killing nearly 32.550 people and causing a loss of US $ 70.3 billion. Earthquake events of 7.4 SR, as well as tsunami and liquefaction in Palu City and Donggala and Sigi regencies. Tora Belo Regional Public Hospital, as a hospital that is promoting disaster preparedness, is expected to be able to deal with emergencies and disasters, especially earthquakes. The objective of this research is to find out the preparedness status of functional at Tora Belo Regional Public Hospital in facing disasters. It was a quantitative research type with a descriptive model using the checklist Hospital Safety Index. The result of the research shows that the Hospital Safety Index at Tora Belo Regional Public Hospital seen from functional preparedness has an index score of 0.36 and include in classification B (0.36 - 0.65). Therefore, it can be concluded that remedial action is needed in the short term. The status of preparedness is adequate, health facilities are considered to be able to withstand the safety of patients and hospital staff and other important services at risk of functioning during and after a disaster. Tora Belo Regional Public Hospital is recommended to make improvements to the document of Hospital Disaster Plan (HDP) and it is necessary to conduct simulations and training at least once a year in improving the team's readiness in handling disasters Keywords: Disasters, Preparedness Status of Functional |
