| Abstrak ABSTRACT ANANDA VIDIA LALITA. Dengue Fever Prevention Behavior in the Working Area of Donggala Public Health Center (under the supervision of Rasyika Nurul Fadjriah). Concentration in Health Promotion Public Health Study Program Public Health Faculty Tadulako University, Palu August, 2021 Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus and is transmitted to humans through the bite of the Aedes mosquito. Data from the Donggala Public Health Center for Dengue Fever cases in 2019 there were 34 cases and an increase in 2020 as many as 38 cases in just 2 months. This research aimed to determine the Dengue Fever (DHF) Prevention Behavior in the Donggala Public Health Center. Type of the research was qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection was done by in-depth interview. The research informants were 13 people using purposive sampling technique. The results show that the informant's level of knowledge was at the first level, namely "know" because the informant's statement could not describe DHF disease clearly. Informants responded to the incidence of DHF by taking preventive actions according to the recommendations of the public health center through PHBS and utilizing the facilities provided. Informants cooperate with families to clean the living environment so that it does not become a breeding ground for mosquitoes. The facilities provided are not evenly distributed. The person in charge and the DHF prevention team at the Donggala Public Health Center in 2020-2021 did not carry out the program according to the time schedule that had been prepared and was not carried out evenly to all people in the working area of ??the Donggala Public Health Center. Suggestions for the public health center are expected that the person in charge of the program can carry out a DHF prevention program regularly and evenly throughout the community in the working area of ??the Donggala Public Health Center.
