| Abstrak Tubectomy is a process of sterilization by biding/cutting the falloping tubes, this should be known by every mother or precisely a woman of reproductife age coples who doesn't want any more children. The Health Departement Of Palu Data In 2018 shows that the use of tubectomy contraception in the working are of the Mabelopura Public Health Center Regional Technical Executing Unit is still low as much (0.6%). The low use of tubectomy contaception is influenced by several factors such as knowledge, sex of the child, and husband support. the purpose of this research was to know the inhibiting factors in the selection of tubectomy method in active family palnning acceprtor in the working area of Mabelopura Public Health Center Regional Technical Executing Unit, Palu. The type of research was quantitative with cross sectional approach. The population in this research was the number of active family palnning acceptor. Sample was 95 people taken by purposive sampling. Data collection used quesstionnaire. Data analysis used bivariate and univariate analysis. The results show that there is relationship of knowledge (p=0,001), husband support (p=0,006), and there was no relationship between the sex of the child (p=0,140) with the selection of tubectomi methods in active family planning acceptor in the working area of the Mabelopura Public Health Center Regional Technical Executing Unit. Health workers should be able to provide counseling or information on each type of contaceptive method, especially tubectomy contraception to accepptors in full so as to increase interest in the use of tubectomy contaception and it is hoped thet Family Planning acceptors should utilize the nearest health care center and follow cunseling of health workes, to obtain information and services on tubectomy contraception properly and correcly. |
