Abstrak Hypertension is a degenerative disease that becomes a serious problem today is categorized as the silent disease or the silent killer. The prevalence of hypertension in the world today is estimated to reach 15-25% of the adult population. RSUD Kolonodale is a hospital that has the highest prevalence of essential hypertension and increases every year in North Morowali District. This study aims to determine the frequency distribution of essential hypertensive diseases based on people, places and time in RSUD Kolonodale 2015 - 2017. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive approach. Sampling is done by total sampling technique. Sources of data using secondary data that is recorded in the record medical records and registration books of patients with essential hypertension. Data analysis used is univariate analysis. The results showed the highest essential hypertensive disease in the age group was 45-64 years as many as 1045 people, the highest gender was in women as much as 1282 people, the highest place was in Petasia sub-district as many as 496 people, the highest time was in 2017 that was 985 person. Therefore, it is expected that patients who have been diagnosed with essential hypertension to adjust their lifestyle to reduce the risk of heart disease and vessels that can cause fatal organ damage or even death, but also expected for health agencies to conduct counseling in the prevention and early detection of hypertension essential. |
