| Abstrak THE EFFECT OF SUPPLEMENTARY FEEDING (PMT) MADE FROM LOCAL INGREDIENTS WITH IMPROVED NUTRITIONAL STATUS IN PREGNANT WOMEN WITH CHRONIC ENERGY DEFICIENCY (KEK) AT THE MAMBORO HEALTH CENTER IN 2023 Dhiya Ulhaq Setianingrum* , Ketut Suarayasa** *Medical Student, Faculty of Medicine, Tadulako University *Department of Public Health and Community Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Tadulako University ABSTRACT Introduction: Local food-based supplementary feeding (PMT) is a local food supplement given to improve nutritional status according to predetermined standards. The targets in receiving food are pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency (KEK) and pregnant women at risk of KEK. Chronic energy deficiency (KEK) in pregnant women is a condition of malnutrition that has been chronic and is characterized by the size of the upper arm circumference (LiLA) in pregnant women < 23.5 cm. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of supplementary feeding (PMT) made from local ingredients with improved nutritional status in pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency (KEK) at Mamboro Health Center in 2023. Methods: This type of research uses pre-experiment method with pretest-posttest design. Sampling in this study used purposive sampling with a total of 34 samples. Bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon Test statistical test. Results: Based on the results of the study, 34 samples had the effect of improving nutritional status (LiLA) after PMT made from local ingredients (100%) (p value = 0.000). The average LiLA of pregnant women before getting PMT made from local ingredients is 22.021 with a standard deviation of 0.7714. The average LiLA of pregnant women after receiving PMT made from local ingredients was 23.853 with a standard deviation of 0.2620. Based on the duration of local PMT, 60-120 days was the most effective duration of local PMT (n = 28) (p value: 0.000). So it can be concluded that there is an effect of PMT made from local ingredients on improving the nutritional status of pregnant women with KEK at the Mamboro Health Center in 2023 and the effective length of PMT made from local ingredients is for 60 - 120 days.
