Abstrak Introduction: Block exams are an important evaluation to assess students' academic abilities, but many factors can affect the results of block exams such as memory, fatigue, and anxiety. Vitamin B6 plays a role in the metabolism of neurotransmitters, such as GABA, serotonin, and dopamine, which support brain function, fatigue and anxiety. Objective: To determine the effect of vitamin B6 on the block exam scores of students of the Faculty of Medicine, Tadulako University, Batch 2023. Methods: Quasi-Experimental research with Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Sampling was done by random sampling technique. The sample was divided into two groups with different treatments. Data analysis in this study was analyzed by normality test, homogeneity test and Independent Sample T-Test. Results: The results showed (1) The average block exam score of the experimental group was 50.19, (2) The average block exam score of the control group was 42.63, (3) There was an effect of vitamin B6 on the block exam score with a significance value of 0.006. Conclusion: This study shows that vitamin B6 supplementation can improve the academic performance of medical students. The limitations of this study are that there was no pre-test assessment so that the initial condition of the research sample was unknown and there were many uncontrolled factors that could potentially affect the academic performance of the research sample.
