SDLR merupakan komponen penting dalam metode pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL). PBL dijadikan sebagai sebuah strategi pembelajaran dalam pendekatan kurikulum SPICES (Student-centered, Problem-based, Integrated Community-based, Elective Systematic/Structured). Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Self-Directed Learning Readiness (SDLR) dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Tadulako angkatan 2022. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian analisis observasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif cross-sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa preklinik angkatan 2022 Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Tadulako yang berjumlah 159 orang. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa preklinik Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Tadulako angkatan 2022 yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan kriteria eksklusi dengan metode pengambilan sampel yaitu total sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Hubungan antara Self-Directed Learning Readiness (SDLR) dengan prokrastinasi akademik dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji korelasi spearman. Hasil: Hasil analisis univariat distribusi skor SDLR sebagian besar tinggi sebanyak 104 orang (68,0%) dan distribusi skor prokrastinasi akademik sebagian besar sedang sebanyak 103 orang (67,3%). Hasil uji korelasi diperoleh nilai p = 0,000 dengan kekuatan korelasi (r) adalah 0,412. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Self-Directed Learning Readiness (SDLR) dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Tadulako angkatan 2022. SDLR is an important component in problem based learning (PBL) study method. PBL is a learning strategy employed in SPICES curriculum approach (Student-centered, Problem-based, Integrated Community-based, Elective Systematic/Structured). Objective: To analyze the correlation between Self-Directed Learning Readiness (SDLR) and academic procrastination of Medical Faculty students Tadulako University class of 2022. Methods: This study is an observational analysis study with a quantitative cross-sectional study approach. Populations of the study were all 159 pre-clinical students class of 2022, Faculty of Medicine Tadulako University. Samples were students who satisfied inclusion and exclusion criteria with a total sampling technique. Study instruments were questionnaires. Correlation between Self-Directed Learning Readiness (SDLR) and academic procrastination was analyzed using a rank spearman correlations test. Results: Univariate analysis results showed that the majority of respondents, 104 students (68.0%) had a high SDLR score and distribution of academic procrastination score was moderate for most respondents, 103 students (67.3%). The correlation test showed a p = 0.000 with correlation coefficient (r) of 0.412. Conclusion: There is a correlation between Self-Directed Learning Readiness (SDLR) and academic procrastination of Medical Faculty students Tadulako University class of 2022.
