TB patients can experience a low nutritional status which drops significantly due to decreased appetite, malnutrition, and malabsorption. In severe malnutrition, 67.3% have severe anemia and 13.8% have moderate anemia which is a complication often experienced by TB sufferers. Pulmonary tuberculosis and Diabetes Mellitus are challenges in public health that are interrelated and have an impact on TB. Diabetes mellitus is the dominant disease as a co-morbidity of pulmonary TB, due to disturbances in blood glucose levels. Conditions of hyperglycemia in patients with Diabetes Mellitus can interfere with the function of neutrophils and monocytes, causing a decrease in the killing power of bacteria. Thus increasing the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. Objective: The objective of this research is to find out the risk of anemia, malnutrition, and diabetes mellitus in pulmonary tuberculosis patients at the Undata Regional Public Hospital in 2021. Methods: This type of research was an observational analyticwith a cross-sectional approach. The research sample totaled 90 respondents ofpulmonary TB patients at the Undata Regional Public Hospital, Palu, who met the inclusion criteria selected through the total sampling technique. The instrument used wasmedicine record data. Data obtained were entered into tables and processed using the SPSS program. Bivariate analysis used the odds ratio test on logistic regression complex samples. Results: The results of the statistical analysis of the odds ratio test show the risk of anemia (OR=0.67), malnutrition (OR=0.28), and diabetes mellitus (OR=0.53) in patients with bacteriological pulmonary TB and clinical pulmonary TB. Conclusion: This research concludes that anemia is the biggest risk factor compared to diabetes mellitus and malnutrition in patients with bacteriological pulmonary TB and clinical pulmonary TB. Keywords: Tuberculosis, Anemia, Malnutrition, Diabetes Mellitus
