Abstrak ABSTRAK Pendahuluan : Pada awal tahun 2020, dunia dikejutkan dengan virus corona atau yang biasa dikenal dengan Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) yang menyebar hampir ke seluruh negara dan World Health Organization (WHO) menetapkan bahwa dunia masuk ke dalam darurat global akibat virus ini. Berdasarkan keputusan Kementrian Pendidikan dan Budaya (Mendikbud RI) dalam surat nomor 4 tahun 2020 mengenai kebijakan pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran pada masa darurat COVID-19 menyatakan bahwa semua kegiatan pendidikan dan pembelajaran dilakukan secara jarak jauh atau Electronic Learning (E-learning) sehingga peserta didik maupun guru/dosen tidak perlu bertatap muka. Oleh sebab itu dibuatnya alat dan bahan dengan proses pembelajaran metode daring agar menunjang kepahaman mahasiswa dalam penyampaian materi tersebut. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan video edukasi terhadap praktikum parasitologi blok 3 angkatan 2019 Universitas Tadulako. Manfaat Penelitian : Sebagai media ajar parasitologi yang lebih efektif dan dapat di akses oleh semua mahasiswa khusunya mahasiswa Universitas Tadulako. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, jenis penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan metode intact-group comparison dan data yang dikumpulkan secara prospektif. Instrument yang digunakan adalah data primer berupa hasil dari nilai praktikum pre-test dan post-test dengan menggunakan google form yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektivitasan penggunaan video edukasi pada proses pembelajaran daring. Lokasi penelitian di kota palu khususnya pada civitas Universitas Tadulako khususnya mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran angkatan 2019 yang memasuki blok 3. Hasil : Hasil penelitian ini adanya peningkatan nilai mahasiswa dan pemahaman terhadap materi praktikum yang disampaikan oleh dosen sehingga efektif dalam penggunaanya ABSTRACT Introduction: In early 2020, the world was shocked by the coronavirus or commonly known as Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) which spread to almost all countries, and the World Health Organization (WHO) determined that the world was entering a global emergency due to this virus. Based on the decision of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia in letter number 4 of 2020 regarding policies for implementing the learning process during the COVID-19 emergency, it states that all educational and learning activities are carried out remotely or Electronic Learning (E-learning) so that students and teachers/lecturers do not need to meet face-to-face. Therefore, tools and materials were made with the online method of learning processes to support student understanding in delivering the material. Objective: The objective of this research is to find out the effectiveness of using educational videos on the parasitology practice block 3 for students at the Medical Faculty 2019 batch of Tadulako University in Palu City. Research Benefits: The benefits of this research is as teaching media for parasitology that is more effective and can be accessed by all students, especially students from Tadulako University. Research Method: This research used a quantitative approach, the type of research was experimental using the intact-group comparison method and the data were collected prospectively. The instrument used was primary data in the form of pre-test and post-test practice values using Google form. Results: The results of this research show that there is an increase in student scores and understanding of the practicum material presented by the lecturer so that it is categorized as effective in its use. Conclusion: Based on the results of the N-Gain test, it is categorized as effective in understanding the material presented by the doctor. Based on the results of the comparison test of pre-test and post-test scores, the results are significant indicating an increase in student scores. Therefore, there is a significant effect with the use of practical educational videos on the online learning process.
