Introduction: Stunting is a condition of growth failure in children, which is caused by chronic malnutrition. This case can make the children grow shorter than their age. LBW is one of the risk factors that affect the case stunting in children. Objective: To find out the relationship between Low Birth Weight and stunting case in children at Sangurara Duyu Public Health Center in the year of 2020. Methods: This is an analytic observational type of research with case control design. This research used non-probability sampling with consecutive sampling method. Bivariate analysis used the Chi-Square statistical test. Results: The results showed that the frequency distribution of LBW in children is 33 (27.5 percent), and children with a history of normal birth weight is 87 (72.5 percent), the highest case of stunting is in children aged 24-36 months, namely 32 (53.3percent). 51 (85.2 percent) children who are stunted come from the family with income below the minimum wage in Palu. The results of the Chi-Square statistical test between LBW and the case of stunting obtained p value = 0.152 (p> 0.05) Conclusion: The results show that there is no correlation between low birth weight (BBLR) and the level of stunting case at Sangurara Duyu Public Health Center. Keywords: Stunting, Low Birth Weight
