Abstrak Introduction: Tuberculosis (TB) is an important problem in the world community. In 1992, the World Health Organization (WHO) had designated TB as a Global Emergency. Tuberculosis can worsen the health of millions of people and cause the second death after Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). Objective: This research aims to determine the difference between the Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio (RNL) in patients with drug-resistant pulmonary TB and sensitive TB Methods: This research used an observational analytic method with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a total sample of 70 patients. The research data was taken by looking at the results of medical records that met the inclusion criteria of pulmonary TB patients at Anutapura Public Hospital and Undata Hospital Palu in 2021. Results: The results show that drug-resistant TB patients have an average neutrophil count of 49.12 ± 37.52, an average lymphocyte count of 9.44 ± 9.27, and an average RNL count of 6.67 ± 5.09. Drug-sensitive TB patients have an average neutrophil count of 47.32 ± 35.69, an average lymphocyte count of 9.36 ± 8.08, and an average RNL count of 8.24 ± 9.37. Conclusion: The results of the comparison of RNL between drug-resistant and drug- sensitive TB are not found to be significantly different.
