| Abstrak Background: The natural disaster that occurred on September 28 2018 which occurred in Palu, Sigi, and Donggala, impacted hundreds of thousands of victims and could disrupted their mental health. This made the researchers want to know how the level of depression of liquefaction victims in Petobo Village, Palu, Central Sulawesi. Objective: To find out how the level of depression of liquefaction victims in Petobo Village, Palu, Central Sulawesi. Methods: This type of descriptive observational research with a cross-sectional approach. Sampling was carried out using a non-probability technique (purposive sampling). The research instrument used the ZSDS (Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale) questionnaire. Results: The research results were obtained based on an assessment of the level of depression, it can be seen that the majority of respondents in this study experienced mild depression as many as 78 people (80.9%). And dominated by female respondents as many as 51 people (54.3%), aged 46-55 years as many as 25 people (26.6%). Conclusion: The depression level of liquefaction victims in Petobo Village, Palu, Central Sulawesi, based on gender characteristics, was in the majority of women with mild depression as many as 42 respondents, and based on age characteristics, the majority were aged 17-25 years with mild depression, as many as 22 respondents.
