Abstrak Community access to forests is a crucial factor in maintaining a balance between forest resource utilization and conservation efforts. Forests not only serve as providers of natural resources, but also as an integral part of the social, cultural and economic life local people society about Lore Lindu National Park (TNLL) Region utilize forest products such as candlenut, rattan, palm, bamboo, honey and melinjo. To utilize these resources, communities must have access to forest resource utilization permits. This research aims to identify and analyzing mechanism about community access in TNLL, in relation to conservation area forest resources, especially in Bakubakulu village. The research sample amounted to 40 respondents using purposive sampling method. The data analysis method uses data reduction which is then analyzed descriptively using access theory. The results showed that most people who work as farmers still often access the area both legally and illegally to fulfill their needs, both for economic needs and daily life. Land tenure in this area has been carried out by the community for generations, although the management exercises direct control and regulation, but the community still accesses forest resources. The existence of community access in utilizing forest resources without permission from the management, due to community ignorance related to licensing in utilizing forest resources. Therefore, to achieve the desired sustainability goals, there needs to be synergy between managers, government and the community. |
