| Abstrak Tourism plays a crucial role in regional development by significantly enhancing the economy of areas with tourism potential. This research, conducted from August to October 2024, focused on Piala Waterfall in Hanga-Hanga Village, Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi. The study aimed to assess the development potential of Piala Waterfall as a tourist destination and to identify suitable strategies for its growth. The research utilized both observational and interview methods. Observations were made through direct visits to evaluate various aspects of the site, including accessibility, facilities, attractions, accommodations, and the overall state of the tourism area. In-depth interviews were conducted with 25 respondents, including local tourism officials, village heads, Basarnas officers, managers, visitors, and local residents, selected via purposive sampling. The data collected were analyzed using SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis. The results revealed that the "X" axis score (0.81) and "Y" axis score (1) indicate that Piala Waterfall possesses strong potential with substantial opportunities for development. Based on these findings, an aggressive strategy focusing on expansion and leveraging available opportunities is recommended. This strategy is aligned with regional growth policies aimed at fostering local development. The study concludes that, with the appropriate development strategies, Piala Waterfall has the potential to make a significant contribution to the local economy.
