Abstrak Fonti (Macaca togeanus) is one type of primate in the Ceropithecidae family that is endemic to Sulawesi Island and the Togean Islands. The objectives of this study include how the population density of Fonti is in Malenge Island National Park. The research method was carried out by direct observation using the Belt Transect Method. The results of the study showed that observations of the fonti population found 66 fonti individuals, from 7 Transects. The density of fonti individuals (Macaca togeanus) on Malenge Island, Togean Islands National Park was 66 individuals with an area of ??12.21 Ha. There were 7 groups of fonti found with a population density of 5,405 or 5 individuals/hectare and included in the moderate category. The number of fonti individuals on Malenge Island, Togean Islands National Park, showed a good age structure, with 33 adults, 20 adolescents, and 13 children from a total of 66 individuals. This good age structure reflects positive regeneration prospects. |
