| Abstrak Community participation is the role of the community based on involvement and emotion so that it creates a stronger bond between group members can have a positive impact on efforts to achieve goals, and also be responsible for the results of the efforts to be achieved. The level of participation in forest conservation can be seen from extension efforts, institutions, selection of plant types, determination of location, nursery, planting, maintenance and monitoring of bamboo. The level of participation itself is influenced by several factors that influence community participation in a program, the nature of these factors can support the success of the program. This study aims to determine community participation in forest conservation after a natural disaster in Poi Village, Dolo Selatan District, Sigi Regency and to find out what efforts have been made for forest conservation after a natural disaster. This study was conducted by taking a sample of respondents by random sampling, namely ten members of the disaster preparedness group, two Non-Governmental Organizations, five village officials, and eighteen local people. data analysis used in this study is a Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that the level of participation in perception, extension, location determination and bamboo planting is categorized as high class. While in the institutional, selection of plant types, bamboo maintenance and bamboo nurseries and monitoring are in progress. Efforts to preserve forests after natural disasters include counseling, establishment of institutions, selection of plant types, bamboo nurseries, location determination, bamboo planting, bamboo maintenance, monitoring and evaluation. |
